Senior Radiology Tech - PRN (20172936)

JOB SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Must be able to perform all radiographic examinations. Must also be familiar with all radiographic equipment and be able to operate it at anytime. Must have 2 years experience in diagnostic Radiology and at least one (1) subspecialty area.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:
Responsible to: Supervisor, Associate Director, and Director of Radiology.
Workers Supervised: Students when assigned.
Interrelationships: Radiologist, control personnel, and Radiology staff.
MINIMAL JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
(ARRT) American Registry of Radiologic Technologist and/or certification with South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA) required.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Must be familiar with all radiographic equipment with two year experience. Candidate must work in Diagnostic Radiology and at least one (1) subspecialty area.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Requires constant lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of objects at least, but not limited to, fifty (50) pounds or less. Requires constant standing or walking, as well as, visual concentration and attention to detail.
AGE SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Recognizes the normal signs (growth and development of aging) of the patient population served and understands the requirements of performing clinical work on the specific age group(s). Completes annual training specific to age needs of patient population.
OSHA TASK CATEGORY I:
Have knowledge of proper use of personal protective clothing and equipment and of areas where clothing and equipment are maintained. Receives education and training in universalprecautions, barrier protection techniques and modes of transmission of blood-borne viruses.
Required Skills
Must have completed an approved radiology program and be registered with the ARRT (or be registry-eligible). Must also be registered with the SCQRSA. Previous hospital experience is preferred but new graduates are welcome to apply.



Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
